With more than thirty years of executive level experience at companies like Grocery Outlet, Safeway and CVS/Longs, Carmelita Botelho and the CMB team bring senior level guidance to site selection, tenant representation, landlord representation, lease negotiations, portfolio strategy and investment sales, without the overhead of a large firm.

After years of navigating dynamic markets and leading transformative real estate strategies, I’m excited to share that I’m now available to take on select client engagements through my advisory practice, CMB Real Estate Solutions.

I bring a trusted, strategic, and relentlessly persistent approach to helping retailers, owners, and investors optimize their portfolios, unlock hidden value, and navigate complexity with confidence—especially in today’s uncertain economic climate. Whether it’s site selection, deal restructuring, portfolio repositioning, or simply needing a steady hand through shifting market forces—I’m here to help through a data-centric innovative lens.

With over three decades of experience across tenant and landlord representation, acquisitions, and development, I’ve delivered hundreds of successful real estate deals for nationally recognized retailers across grocery, pharmacy, QSR, and mixed-use sectors. My leadership roles have spanned companies like United Growth Capital Management, Boos Development, CVS/Longs Drugs, Safeway/Property Development Centers, and Baskin Robbins/Togo’s/Dunkin Donuts—culminating most recently in serving as Vice President of Real Estate at Grocery Outlet.

Today, I offer high-impact consulting, interim leadership, and co-brokerage services with a hands-on, results-oriented style. I am a licensed California Real Estate Broker and hold multiple respected industry designations, including CCIM, CRX, CLS, CDP, WBENC, LBE & MSML. I also proudly serve on national leadership councils through ICSC, CREW, The Pipeline, FIIRE, and Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School’s MSML Champions as I am completing my Master of Science in Management and Leadership.
